GEO CONSULTANCY FOR PUBLISHERS

FOR PUBLISHERS & MEDIA OWNERS

How do you build
a GEO offering
brands want
to buy?

We help you understand your value in AI search, turn it into a commercial offer and give your team the tools to run it.

GEO means helping content appear in and inform AI-generated answers. We’ll help you work out what that means for your titles.

FROM PUBLISHER EXPERTISE TO A COMMERCIAL OFFER

01 / EXPERIENCE FROM THE BUYING SIDE

We help brands buy content
to improve their AI visibility.

We understand what they’re looking for: relevant publishers, a clear reason to invest and evidence of what the content is doing.

We bring that buying experience into five areas of support.↓

02 / CHOOSE THE RIGHT TRACKING PARTNER

Start with tracking
that answers the right questions.

We help you assess partners for crawler log analysis and prompt citations, based on what your team needs to know and show.

01

Is AI accessing your content?

Crawler log analysis helps show which bots are visiting, which pages they access and how that changes.

A view of access and crawl activity.
02

Is your content appearing in answers?

Prompt tracking shows when your pages are cited across an agreed set of questions, topics and AI platforms.

A view of citations in sampled answers.
WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A partner shortlist, selection criteria and a measurement setup your team understands.

Then we use the evidence to explain where your value sits.↓

03 / UNDERSTAND YOUR PLACE IN AI SEARCH

Where does your content
help a brand get considered?

We look at the subjects where you have expertise, the pages AI cites and the types of questions your content can answer.

That gives your sales team a more useful story than simply saying your site has high authority.

01

The topics you have a strong claim to.

Your specialist coverage, audience and editorial expertise.

02

The role your content plays.

Explaining a category, comparing options or helping people choose.

03

The evidence you can show.

Relevant citations, brand representation and performance over time.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A clear explanation of your GEO value, backed by the evidence available.

That becomes the basis of a content offer your team can sell.↓

04 / DEVELOP YOUR CONTENT & SALES APPROACH

Turn that value into
something a brand can buy.

We help you shape the content products, briefs and sales story around the questions brands want to be visible for.

01

Improve existing content.

Identify relevant pages to refresh, expand or clarify, using your editorial standards.

02

Build new content packages.

Define the formats, subjects and deliverables that fit your titles and a brand’s objectives.

03

Show the value clearly.

Build a sales narrative, proposal examples and reporting that explain what a brand gets.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A defined offer, briefing templates and sales materials your team can use.

Once the offer is clear, we help you work out what to charge.↓

05 / BENCHMARK YOUR PRICING

What should you charge
for new or optimised content?

We benchmark competitor publisher rate cards and bring practical insight from buying content for brands.

We help you compare like with like, then build pricing around the work involved and the value of your offer.

Here’s how we’d work together.

01

OUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

A consultancy built around your team.

Brand experience

The brand logos are taken from slide 13 of Planit’s “AI Search — The story” deck, updated 28 October 2026, where they are presented as brands supported with AI visibility. They illustrate Planit’s brand-side experience; they do not imply that those brands endorse this publisher consultancy or are committed prospects for a participating publisher.

Publisher experience

The publisher names and relationship description were supplied by Planit. The experience includes acquisition media work for some publishers and content, affiliate and publisher media buying for brands. The list is not presented as GEO consultancy clients, and the same relationship is not asserted for every publisher.

Tracking and interpretation

Crawler logs and citation tracking answer different questions. A bot request is evidence of access, not proof of citation, recommendation or a commercial outcome. Bot identities and purpose need to be checked. Prompt tracking measures a defined sample of responses; results vary by platform, prompt, time and user context. We help define the methodology and limits before presenting findings to brands.

Commercial approach

Partner selection is consultative, with requirements, costs, exports, access and ownership assessed against your needs. Software licences and any ongoing supplier costs are agreed separately. No named tracking vendor is recommended by this presentation.

Pricing work uses public or permissioned rate-card information and appropriately aggregated buying experience. It does not promise access to another publisher’s confidential negotiated terms. Comparisons distinguish list prices from buying experience and account for scope, format, distribution, reporting and update commitments.

Recommendations support the publisher’s editorial standards and applicable disclosure requirements. No package guarantees AI citation, placement or leads. The target-brand list identifies relevant opportunities; it is not a commitment of brand spend or an introduction guarantee.

Engagement and handover

The five service areas form a menu for a scoped consultancy engagement. Priorities, deliverables, access, team responsibilities, training, timing and fees are agreed before work begins. The purpose is to establish the internal understanding, documentation and operating process to continue after consultancy ends.
